KHEIA Board Members

The Kansas Hunter Education Instructor association is a nonprofit organization that works closely with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP), in assisting volunteer Hunter Education instructors in promoting safe hunting practices and providing education regarding firearm safety. Volunteer Instructors offer in-person and online courses to individuals seeking to obtain their hunting licenses and improve their knowledge of safe gun handling.

KHEIA promotes good sportsmanship and fosters the conservation and responsible use of our renewable wildlife. KHEIA promotes and preserves the sport of hunting for citizens of Kansas and future generations. KHEIA coordinates and encourages the efforts of individuals and the public in the fields of hunter safety, marksmanship training and wise conservation practices.

The KHEIA welcomes and encourages all KS Hunter Education Instructors to make contact with Board members concerning any questions, suggestions, ideas, complaints or compliments. Your feedback is vitally important to the organization and we look forward to hearing from you.
